Ride a JumpBike in Washington DC
I rode a Jump Bike to start a day in Washington DC today (May 28th, 2018. Memorial day). It’s also my first visit to the capital of the states.
The ride was an amazing experience for me.
Temperature was at lower sixties, with a bit drizzle now and then and pretty light traffic on the streets. The e-bike is powerful to deal with the hilly terrains in San Francisco, so biking in the pretty flat Washington DC became so easy for both the bike and for me.
I met many friendly visitors and neighbors who helped take photos when we were waiting for traffic lights (some were unbelievably 60secs long). A cab driver was so curious, while waiting for his jobs, that he even asked me how electric bike worked. Surely he could give it a try.
Reminder: a JumpBike is supposed to be locked to a bike rack after use. Be friendly to your neighbors.
